From Halloween hikes to festive foods, fall is perfect for families at the Arboretum.  Come to the Arboretum in October for our Fall Color Festival, featuring a spooktactular array of fun fall programs and activities for the whole clan.
Family Jack O' Lantern Hikes

Multiple times available
$16 member, $19 nonmember, including Arboretum admission
Hike a jack o' lantern lit trail, decorate pumpkins, and roast marshmallows over a fire. Meets at parking lot 21.

What hangs from its feet, loves mosquitoes, and sleeps all day? A bat, of course! Come to the Children’s Garden to make a bat finger puppet and discover how bats are beneficial in this self-guided, hands-on discovery activity, weather permitting.
