LISLE, IL (January 18, 2013) – Expand your child’s mind this summer with interactive, outdoor adventures during The Morton Arboretum’s Summer Science Camp. Kids will come face-to-face with bugs and birds, create art and sharpen their survival skills through our more than 100 exciting hands-on camps.
Week-long science camps run from June 10-August 9, excluding the week of July 4. Camps are available for ages 5 through 8th grade. Teens 14 to 16 years old can take part in our Counselor in Training (CIT) program.
“Science camp at The Morton Arboretum is an opportunity to instill a lifelong love of nature in your child while exploring fundamental science principles and observation skills,” says Director of Education Anamari Dorgan. “Expert instructors use fun outdoor activities that engage children in hands-on discovery of the natural world.”
Camp fees are $165 members/$195 nonmembers per week for half-day sessions and $295 members/$350 nonmembers per week for full-day camps. New this year, to make life easier for parents we are offering supervised play before and after camp for an additional fee.
