For more than 25 years, the Nature Artists’ Guild of The Morton Arboretum has been showcasing its members’ talent in its annual spring exhibit. On Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7, visitors can enjoy this year’s exhibit of more than 100 original pieces of art at the Thornhill Education Center from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be artworks in a variety of media, some available for purchase.
This year, guests will be able to watch the artists in action as they give live demonstrations throughout the weekend.
“To watch an artist excel at their craft right in front of you is an incredible experience,” says Suzanne Wegener, nature arts education manager at the Arboretum. “Each show is different as the demonstrations and artists change. It’s a wonderful way for those interested in art to watch an artist at work.”
