2014 Breakfast with Bunny and the Easter Brunch

The Morton Arboretum will once again welcome adults and children to Easter events with special appearances by the Easter Bunny. On Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, come join us for Breakfast with the Bunny featuring a delicious breakfast buffet in our scenic Ginkgo Restaurant overlooking Meadow Lake. On Sunday, April 20, come enjoy Easter Brunch and look out at the early spring blooms popping up all around the Arboretum. This champagne brunch features chef-carved prime rib, made-to-order omelets, pasta and much more. Complete details on both events are below.

 

Breakfast with the Bunny

Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, 9-11 a.m.

$33 for adult members, $28 for children members, $42 for adult nonmembers, $34 for children nonmembers, free for children 3 and under

Hop on over for a tasty breakfast buffet in our scenic Ginkgo Restaurant overlooking Meadow Lake. Plus, the Easter Bunny will make a special appearance and hand out decorated cookies and jelly bean bags!

A delicious breakfast buffet station will feature turkey sausage patties, apple wood smoked bacon scrambled eggs, classic eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce and breakfast potatoes. There will also be fresh fruit, a yogurt parfait bar, cinnamon French toast and an array of freshly baked breakfast breads and pastries.

A special children’s breakfast buffet will include French toast sticks, chicken tenders, mac & cheese, mini hot dogs, tator tots, vegetable dippers, pudding and Jell-O cups.

The beverage station will offer freshly brewed coffees and teas, assorted fruit juices, soft drinks, milk and chocolate milk.

 

Easter Brunch

Sunday, April 20, 9:30 a.m., noon and 3 p.m.

$49 for adult members, $34 for children members, $58 for adult nonmembers, $40 for children nonmembers, free for children 4 and under

Enjoy a brunch complete with a visit from the Easter Bunny at your table! The menu features a carving station with prime rib, honey-glazed ham, stuffed chicken breast, leg of lamb, pan seared mahi-mahi, potato casserole, sautéed seasonal vegetables and assorted dinner roles. A made-to-order pasta station will be available after 12 p.m.

Enjoy a made-to-order omelet station or head over to the breakfast station featuring turkey sausage patties, apple wood smoked bacon scrambled eggs, classic eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce and breakfast potatoes, fresh fruit, a yogurt parfait bar, cinnamon French toast and an array of freshly baked breakfast breads and pastries.

A cold buffet station will include chilled shrimp, a variety of smoked seafood, an extensive salad bar, a variety of cheeses, fresh fruit, antipasto and grilled vegetables.

The children’s station will have French toast sticks, chicken tenders, mac & cheese, mini hot dogs, tator tots, vegetable dippers, pudding and Jell-O cups.

Dessert options will include a section of pies, cheesecakes, cookies, dessert bars, mini petite fours and cupcakes.

The beverage station will offer freshly brewed coffees and teas, assorted fruit juices, soft drinks, milk, chocolate milk and sparkling grape juice.

A cash bar offering a wine, champagne, mimosas and a bloody mary bar will be available after 12p.m.

Admission Rate 

Nonmember admission rates to The Morton Arboretum are $12 for adults ages 18-64 ($8 on Wednesday), $11 for seniors ages 65 and over ($7 on Wednesday), $9 for children ages 2-17 ($6 on Wednesday) and free for children under age 2. Parking is free with admissio
