LISLE, Ill. (March 7, 2014) – Celebrate the return of spring by participating in The Morton Arboretum's fourth-annual Arbor Day 10K run. On Sunday, April 13, experience the sights, sounds and smells of a springtime morning amidst the beauty of the Arboretum’s tree-lined route. Our USATF-certified course follows the Arboretum’s East Side Main Route through scenic, rolling terrain.

CELEBRATE EASTER WITH FAMILY-FRIENDLY EVENTS AT THE MORTON ARBORETUM

LISLE, Ill. (February 14, 2014) – The Morton Arboretum will once again welcome adults and children to Easter events with special appearances by the Easter Bunny. On both Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19, come join us for Breakfast with the Bunny featuring a delicious breakfast buffet in our scenic Ginkgo Restaurant overlooking Meadow Lake. On Sunday, April 20, come enjoy Easter Brunch and look out at the early spring blooms popping up all around the Arboretum. This champagne brunch features chef-carved prime rib, made-to-order omelets, pasta and much more.

(December 27, 2013)—Celebrate this winter at The Morton Arboretum!  This season, embrace the chill and head outdoors to visit Husky Heroes, The Morton Arboretum’s own Siberian husky demonstrations. Or in February, celebrate chocolate with your family, friends or your valentine at one of several chocolate-themed events. Choose from a chocolate truffle-making party, our Chocolate Expo and Market or a special presentation on February 15 about Chicago’s storied candy history with historian and author of “Chicago’s Sweet Candy History,” Leslie Goddard.
