OAK TREE RESEARCHER FROM THE MORTON ARBORETUM AWARDED FULBRIGHT SCHOLARSHIP

The Morton Arboretum is pleased to announce that Senior Research Scientist Andrew L. Hipp, Ph.D., has been named a 2013-2014 Fulbright Scholar. This is the first Fulbright awarded to a researcher at the Arboretum.

THE MORTON ARBORETUM ACHIEVES MUSEUM ACCREDITATION

The Morton Arboretum has received accreditation from the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the highest national recognition for a museum. Accreditation signifies excellence to the public as well as the Arboretum’s funding audience, professional community and government and other agencies.

Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden Awarded Level I Accreditation By Arbnet Arboretum Accreditation Program

The ArbNet Arboretum Accreditation Program and The Morton Arboretum are pleased to announce that Helen Avalynne Tawes Garden in Annapolis, MD has been awarded a Level I Accreditation. By achieving particular standards of professional practices deemed important for arboreta and botanic gardens, Tawes Garden is now recognized as an accredited arboretum in The Morton Register of Arboreta.
