The Morton Arboretum’s Destination Asia Festival returns this August with live music and dance performances, martial arts demonstrations, and an ethereal opening ceremony featuring meet-and-greet opportunities with champion sumo wrestlers and Toro Nagashi, a Japanese tradition featuring floating candle-lit lanterns.
Beginning this June, The Morton Arboretum will unveil a new weekly summer concert series featuring top local bands, dancing, and the chance to enjoy tapas and drinks while unwinding on the Arboretum’s lush green clearing surrounded by towering trees.
The Morton Arboretum welcomes spring with a slate of events for all ages, and a celebration of trees on Arbor Day, the Arboretum’s signature holiday.
Ring in March with a walk through our woods, your pup by your side, during Dog Admission Day. Then enjoy a rocking night out with the dueling pianos of Howl at the Moon. This April, celebrate Easter with our kid-friendly Breakfast with the Bunny and a delicious Easter Brunch.
Tickets are now on sale for Illumination: Tree Lights at The Morton Arboretum, a “can’t-miss” event returning this November with new interactive features that let visitors become part of the Illumination experience.
