Spring bird migration begins earlier than most people realize. Many species are already on the move in February. Waterfowl are the first to make major migration moves. As soon as the ice begins to leave our lakes and ponds waterfowl start pushing north. Three Saturdays, February 16, March 2, and March 9, 2019, 8:00 a.m. to noon.
In this single morning workshop for beginners, learn how to find birds, discuss equipment, what to wear, keeping track of your observations, and more at The Morton Arboretum. Saturday, April 6, 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (registration opens November 20, 2019)
