You can make a difference because every dollar counts!
Please give generously this year to The Morton Arboretum’s Annual Fund.
This year, join with fellow members, donors, and volunteers to support the Arboretum’s important work on behalf of trees and the value they bring to our lives.
Income sources like member dues and admissions alone cover only a fraction of the cost of all we do every day, every year. As a private, nonprofit institution, we rely on additional generosity from you to support programs and initiatives that make our Arboretum special.
Whether you contribute $5, $50, or $500, your tax-deductible gift will help to support the Arboretum's work in:
- Education – Hand's on learning experiences for nearly 35,000 adults and children each year.
- Conservation – Home to 100 endangered plant species in the Arboretum's living collections and working to protect more than 8,000 threatened tree species around the world.
- Research – 24 researchers and staff scientists focused on tree root systems and biomechanics, forest ecology, and the health of urban trees.
- Programs – Providing guidance to communities, landowners, and tree professionals in northern Illinois on tree selection, care, and health through the Community Trees Program. Helping homeowners, gardeners, and professionals choose appropriate landscape plants - and how to keep them healthy - through our Plant Clinic.
Every gift helps
The truth is, every dollar helps. Please consider a generous gift during the 2014 Annual Fund Year-end Campaign. And, this year you can divide your gift into convenient monthly payments.
Trees and the environment have never been more important than they are today. And, with your continued support, the Arboretum is poised to meet the challenges and opportunities for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful world. Your gift will have a positive impact on our trees locally – and around the world.
