Botanical Art with Pencil

As you study and draw the details of living plants, you will learn the techniques of pencil drawing, develop your eye-hand coordination, and learn the structures of the plants you draw at The Morton Arboretum. 4 Tuesdays, January 27-February 17, 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Winter Pastels

The soft light of winter lends itself to the medium of pastel. You will learn the basics of pastel and then working with your photographs and observation create a small landscape at The Morton Arboretum. Saturday, January 24-Sunday, January 25, 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.

Begin to Draw Nature-Canceled

Chinese Brush Painting Workshop: Landscapes

Julie Sutter-Blair received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her award winning artwork can be found in numerous art exhibits throughout the Midwest. She has been invited to jury top-ranked Art Festivals, has been artist in residence in schools and has taught previous workshops at The Morton Arboretum..
