At 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 4, the festival begins with a formal welcome, engaging performances, culinary delights, and a breathtaking Toro Nagashi Japanese floating lantern display on Meadow Lake. Join us for the opening night to meet and take pictures with the performers!

Did you know The Morton Arboretum has a vast Tree and Shrub collection from Asian countries? Explore our tree collections from China, Japan, and Korea and learn about the important conservation efforts we are working on.
