Shop the Arbor Day Plant Sale at The Morton Arboretum for an exciting variety of plants chosen by our experts for success in your Chicago-area garden. This sale takes place Arbor Day weekend in a tent in the Visitor Center parking lot.

You’ll find trees, shrubs, vegetables, perennials for sun and shade, ferns, ground covers, and native plants. 

Not sure what to buy? At the Arbor Day Plant Sale you’ll also find roaming Plant Geniuses, happy to answer your questions and help you choose the right plants for your garden, from sturdy trees to fragrant shrubs to sweet tomatoes and colorful perennials.

Members get first pick, so join today for the best selection.  Members, bring your membership card for admission to the Arbor Day Plant Sale.

SCHEDULE AND LOCATION: 

Friday, April 25- Sunday, April 27

Members only: Friday, April 25, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (Members, bring your membership card.)
Members only: Saturday, April 26, 9:00 a.m.–noon (Members, bring your membership card.)
Open to the public: Saturday, April 26, noon–5:00 p.m. (nonmembers must pay Arboretum admission.)
Open to the public: Sunday, April 27, 11:00 a.m.–5:00p.m. (nonmembers must pay Arboretum admission.)
