Youth and Family

THREE WAYS TO GET YOUR KIDS HOOKED ON NATURE.

1. Spark imagination
with Summer Science Camps.

Introduce your children to nature's wonders through Summer Science Camps. Every day is an adventure at Summer Science Camp. Discover bizarre bugs, wriggling frogs, and fairy worlds at these half-day and full-day week long programs for K-8th graders. Choose from more than 100 camps that run mid June-mid August. Discover more and register now!

2. Grow curiosity
with youth classes.

Empower your children to explore outdoors and ask questions about what they encounter. In The Morton Arboretum’s Youth Classes, children search for baby animal nests and learn fun facts about trees.  Morton Arboretum master educators lead the programs, which are uniquely tailored to meet the learning needs and curiosities of each age group, from eighteen months to 12 years. Programs are offered yearlong at reasonable rates.

3. Explore together
with family adventure programs.

Gain confidence in being your child’s nature guide in affordable Family Adventure programs. Together as a family, tap a maple tree or identify insects alongside Arboretum experts who show you ways to partner in your child’s learning. Events are a great way to engage families with children of different ages.
