Winter Buds and Silhouettes

Winter is a wonderful time to explore the forest! Examine the forms and branching patterns of 18 Illinois trees, stroll around the Arboretum to identify the bark and buds of these majestic wonders. Take home labeled examples for future reference.

Notes: This class meets mostly outdoors. Please dress for the weather and for moderate walking on trails. Limit 20.
