Tree Troubles: Empower Your Students to Take Action

Learn about the pests and threats facing the trees in your school yard and the woodland ecosystem. Empower your students to take action. Discover how to use tools in order to evaluate an ecosystem’s health and tackle topics such as invasive plant species and invasive pests. This workshop focuses on the following Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS): 5-ESS3-1, MS-LS2-1, MS-LS2-4,MS-LS2-5, HS-LS2-7.

Note: Lunch is not included, but available for an additional $15 fee.  Lunch must be reserved ahead of time and cannot be purchased onsite the day of this workshop. If lunch is not reserved/purchased with workshop registration, participants should bring a sack lunch.  Limit 50
