Course Description

Preserve your memories in the digital world by joining the Sterling Morton Library in attending their Tree Stories Memory Lab. During the lab time, you will have the opportunity to have your tree related photographs, negatives, and/or slides scanned by a Library staff member. After having them scanned and obtaining the digital file, you will be capable of sharing your images to the digital community (social media outlets, blogs, etc.). Additionally, you will be able to participate in the Arboretum's Tree-mendous Tree Stories, a platform that allows individuals from the Chicago-area to tell their beloved tree story. During the lab time, you can receive assistance writing your story and uploading it to the website!
