Lunch and Learn: Building a Great Outdoor Museum: The Development of The Morton Arboretum

Marking our 95th anniversary in 2017, The Morton Arboretum has a rich history to celebrate. Since our founding by Joy Morton in 1922, the land has been mapped, sculpted, expanded, planted, cultivated and studied by a host of people. Join us to chronicle some of these stories, people, plants and places that have contributed to our flourishing Arboretum story as we continue to build a great outdoor museum.
