Life on the Forest Floor

A close-up shot of leaves on the forest floor
Dig up some dirt, roll over rotting logs, poke at creepy crawlers, and find out how it all serves as the foundation for the woodland ecosystem. Uncover the dark underbelly beneath your feet. From feeding on the dead to feeding on dung to living in rot, organisms interact on the forest floor in weird and wonderful ways. Investigate death, decay, fire, and rebirth, all key elements to the woodland ecosystem.
