Explore the bright blooms and lemon-yellow flowers of the witch hazel collection in early spring. Flowers bear slender strap-like petals that curl up when temperatures fluctuate, and suggest a promise of spring. In the Witch-hazel Dell Collection, look for the cultivar ‘Birgit’ hybrid witch-hazel with its wide-spreading habit and smooth gray-brown bark, and the Hamamelis x intermedia 'Angelly' witch-hazel with fragrant yellow flowers and light green pods. Other new cultivars will be viewed and discussed during the walking tour. Don't miss this opportunity to get a closer look at this beautiful and diverse family in our newly renovated collection.
