Habitat History Walk: Meadow Lake

Immerse yourself in the diverse mosaic of Meadow Lake to explore the native plant collection, learn about its historic restoration and award winning sustainability design for stormwater management. Home to emerald green pine trees,  blooming redbuds and wind swept grasses.  Meadow Lake is made-up of over 68,000 plants that span 5.5 acres of land and water features. View the vibrant red cardinal flowers, stunning  prairie love grass, the playful pinkish purple of the rough blazing star and hopefully catch a glimpse of our Swallowtail butterflies.
