Glacial History Bike Tour

Learn the geologic history of the Midwest as we cycle the the roads of the Arboretum. The beautiful rolling terrain of hills, valleys, and meadows reveal a story of glaciers and erosion over the past fifteen thousand years.  A bicycle is the ideal way to explore this varied glacial terrain. Led by David Dolak, geologist, artist, and cross-country cyclist.

Notes: Ages 16+. Bring your own bike. Helmets required. Must be comfortable riding at a leisurely pace approximately 8 to 9 miles over rolling terrain. In case of inclement weather, the rain date will be November 11. Limit 15
