Fall Ikebana

Capture the graceful curve of a stem, the fall of a leaf, or the lightness of a cloud using Ikebana, the art of Japanese flower arranging. The instructors will demonstrate several techniques and then help you create your favorite version. All plant materials will be collected fresh from the Arboretum grounds. Each student will create an arrangement to take home.

Instructor: E-Ling Lou, Arboretum botanical arranger
Notes: Held indoors. Limit 20.
Supplies: A supply list will be sent to registrants. A kenzan and container will need to be purchased in addition to the program fee; if you wish, you may purchase these from the Arboretum for $16.
