Edible Gardening Workshop - Growing Formal and Productive Kitchen Gardens (SOLD OUT)

Learn what design elements make up a potager garden, and get real-world tips for kitchen garden success. At Westover Farms, a private garden in Long Grove, there is a large 71-by-97-foot potager garden that is a model example of potager garden style. Discuss garden style, layout and planting strategies with two expert gardeners: Russ Buvala of Craig Bergmann Landscapes, who oversaw the creation and installation of that garden & Nick Michaud, current head gardener at Westover Farms. They’ll introduce the history of this ornamental French-style kitchen garden that embraces vegetables, herbs, fruits and flowers in a formal setting and share ideas for year-round beauty and productivity.
