Drawing Mammals

Description

Learn the fundamentals of mammal anatomy and tips for sketching from photos and specimens from the Field Museum collection. We will practice blocking in basic body shapes and fur, discuss species specific anatomical indicators, and learn how to capture personality in our drawings.

Supplies: Bring pencils or other drawing materials you prefer to use, and a sketchpad or drawing paper.
