Bird Portraits: Acrylic on Wood
Lindsay Sandbothe returns for a two-day, intermediate/advanced workshop. Explore intermediate techniques for painting on wood in acrylic, including staining, blocking, layering, and glazing while rendering detailed portraits of birds in their natural environment. Through demonstrations and time to work under the guidance of the instructor, students will create their own bird portraits. 

Instructor: Lindsay Sandbothe, freelance artist
Prerequisite: This workshop is best suited for intermediate/advanced artists with experience working with paint.
Notes: Limit 15
Supplies: Bring a set of acrylic brushes, including a few with very tiny heads for detail, and paint. Details provided upon registration. All other supplies provided.
