Height:  50-60'  Spread: 40-50'  Habit/Form:  Pyramidal to rounded Growth Rate: Medium   Zone: 3-7

Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade, on moist, well drained soils.  Tolerates wet sites as well as some dryness.

Ornamental Characteristics: Shiny, red-brown bark and yellow color in autumn.

Butterfly Caterpillar/larval Host: Tiger Swallowtail, Mourning Cloak, Compton Tortoiseshell

Nectar Source/Butterflies Attracted: Northern Pearly Eye (sap)
