Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade; moist, well-drained soils with consistent moisture; tolerates a wide range of soil pH; drought sensitive, benefits with a mulch layer to conserve moisture

Ornamental Characteristics: Showy white, lace cap flowers in mid-May, held above the foliage; large, bright red fruit clusters in early fall; excellent for making jams and jellies

Use in the Landscape: Shrub borders, foundation plantings, woodlands, hedges or screens
