Height: 8-15' Spread: 8-15' Habit/Form: Upright, rounded to oval Growth Rate: Slow to Medium Zone: 3-7

Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun; well-drained soil; tolerates dry, alkaline soils; flowers on old wood, prune immediately after flowering; susceptible to powdery mildew in high humidity.

Ornamental Characteristics: Rounded habit with arching branches, more refined than common lilac; highly fragrant, open panicles of purple-lilac flowers bloom up to 4 weeks; attracts butterflies.

Use in the Landscape: specimen, in masses, privacy screens or hedges, in shrub border
