Cultural Requirements: Part shade to full sun in moist, well-drained soil; tolerant of heat, humidity, and pollution once established; benefits from a layer of mulch.

Ornamental Characteristics: Long lasting, showy creamy-white flowers turn pink as they age; smaller, more refined dark green leaves than other oak-leaved hydrangeas; fall color is bronze to purple.

Uses in the Landscape: Excellent in small gardens, foundation plantings, patio, or yard accent.
