:  15-20'  Spread:  10-15'   Habit/Form:  Upright   Growth Rate:  Medium Zone:  3-7

Cultural Requirements:  Sun or shade; moist or dry soil

Ornamental characteristics:  White, flat-topped flowers; blue-black fruit; maroon fall color.

Landscape Uses:  Large shrub or small tree; good for naturalizing.

Birds Attracted: 35+ species, including flycatcher, flicker, bluebird, grosbeak, and redpoll

Plant Appeal for Birds: Fruit ripens September-October, often persisting into December; nesting; cover

Butterfly Caterpillar/larval Host: Spring Azure

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Moderate degree of salt tolerance; use in low exposed areas
