:  8-12'  Spread:  8-12'  Habit/Form: Upright to rounded  Growth Rate: Medium  Zone:  2-7

Cultural Requirements:  Sun to part shade; can be used in moist but not wet sites; prone to viburnum crown borer

Ornamental Characteristics; white, lace- cap flowers in May; red fruits attract wildlife; burgundy fall color

Uses in the Landscape:  Shrub border, naturalizing, specimen

Birds Attracted: 35+ species, including flycatcher, flicker, bluebird, grosbeak, and redpoll

Plant Appeal for Birds: Fruit ripens in early September and persists through February

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Moderate degree of salt tolerance; use in low exposed areas

Plant tolerant of occasional or temporary flooding

Native to Midwest.
