Cultural Requirements: Prefers moist, well-drained, neutral pH to slightly-acidic soils. Best in full sun to partial shade, with protection from winter sun and winds. Can be easily pruned to maintain size and shape. No serious diseases or pests.

Ornamental Characteristics: A conical evergreen shrub with dense, scale-like, dark-green foliage that occurs as flattened sprays on frond-like branches, with whitish lines on the undersides of the sprays.

Uses in the Landscape: Use as a specimen or accent plant or in rock gardens.
