Height: 25-30' Spread: 20-25' Habit/Form: Upright to Rounded Growth Rate: Medium Zone: 5-7

Cultural Requirements: Best flowering occurs in full sun, but tolerant of part shade. Grow in loose, well-drained soils; pH adaptable. Once plants are established they are fairly heat and drought tolerant. Typical of all lilacs, prune after blooming fpr best flowering the following year.

Ornamental Characteristics: A plant selected from the collections at The Morton Arboretum and introduced through the Chicagoland Grows®Plant Introduction Program Amber-colored exfoliating bark; deep green, semi-gloss foliage and large, creamy-white, fragrant flowers add multi-season interest.

Uses in the Landscape: Tree lilacs are dependable urban trees, including as parking lot or boulevard plantings, which tolerate a wide range of conditions. Large flowers in early summer, exfoliating bark, and persistent inflorescence create multiple seasons of interest.
