Cultural Requirements: Sun or shade; adaptable to various soils but prefers moist, well-drained conditions with excellent heat and drought tolerance.

Ornamental Characteristics: Lustrous, medium green leaves turn a mild red-purple in the fall. White flat-topped flowers appear in mid to late June. The ink-blue fruits mature in September and October and are favored by birds.

Uses in the Landscape: A Chicagoland Grows^® introduction. Use in mass, as a naturalized or informal hedge, for screening, or in the shrub border.
