Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun to part shade. Prefers well-drained, acidic, organic-rich, loamy soil. Plants can become chlorotic (yellow leaves) in high pH soils. No serious pest or disease problems.

Ornamental Characteristics: Large, white, bottlebrush-like, honey-scented flowers appear before the leaves. Summer foliage is a beautiful blue-green with a silvery-white underside. Consistent yellow-red-orange fall color.

Uses in the Landscape: Can be used in mass, as a specimen, or in a mixed border.
