Cultural Requirements: Prefers moist, well-drained soil, but very adaptive to different soil types. Avoid extremely wet conditions. Grows best in full sun to light shade.

Ornamental Characteristics: Graceful, arching branches add year-round interest. Springtime brings tiny, reddish-pink flowers followed by dark green, glossy foliage, followed by bright red-fruits that persist through winter. Fall color is a rich burgundy. Good resistance to spider mite. Selected at The Morton Arboretum for Chicagoland GrowsTM introduction.

Uses in the Landscape: Excellent in mass or groupings, as a ground cover, or as a foundation plant.
