Cultural Requirements: Plant in full sun for best flowering and fruiting. Prefers well-drained, slightly moist, and acidic to neutral soils. Once mature, crabapples tolerate drought conditions, but benefit with a 3-4-inch layer of organic mulch.  Disease resistance: Scab-Good, Fire blight-Excellent, Rust-Excellent, Mildew-Good.

Ornamental Characteristics: Rounded to broadly horizontal branching. Single, dark pink buds open to pure white flowers. Glossy, red ½-inch fruits persist long into winter and attract birds. Medium green foliage is disease resistant.
