Cultural Requirements: Best in well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerant of dry conditions once established.
Ornamental Characteristics: A broad, dense pyramidal tree that opens with age. Gray-green to blue-green, 1-inch needles are stiff and prickly and persist for several years giving the tree a dense appearance. Light brown cones are 2-4 inches long and scaly.
Uses in the Landscape: Use as a specimen tree, windbreak, in groups, or as a screen in large landscapes.

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Highest degree of salt tolerance; use in most exposed areas
