Height: 40-50' Spread: 30-35' Habit/Form: Uniform, broad-pyramidal habit Growth Rate: Medium Zone: 4-8

Cultural Requirements: Full sun in moist, well-drained, loamy, slightly acidic soils; has shown excellent heat and drought tolerance.

Ornamental Characteristics: Handsome corky bark develops vertical scales. The thick, 5-lobed, attractive medium to dark green leaves remain long into fall, then rapidly change to a pale golden yellow fall color. The parent tree was selected from the collections at The Morton Arboretum. A Chicagoland Grows TM introduction.

Uses in the Landscape: Excellent in street tree plantings, a large specimen tree, or a shade tree in home landscapes. A good alternative selection for Norway maple (Acer platanoides).
