Cultural Requirements: Best in well-drained soil in full sun; pH adaptable, tolerant of dry, gravelly soil once established

Ornamental Characteristics: Multi-stemmed, dense habit; bluish-green leaves turn a yellow to red fall color; persistent flower stalks produce purplish-red 'smoke' in mid-summer

Use in the Landscape: Single specimen, group or mass in shrub border
