Height: 30-50' Spread: 15-35'  Habit/Form: Broad pyramidal Growth Rate: Slow    Zone: 4-7

Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade; moist, well-drained soil; wind tolerant; adapted to rocky slopes; native to the Rockies and western U. S.

Ornamental Characteristics: Dark, stiff blue-green needles are twisted, tend to be clustered a tips of branches; branches are flexible and less prone to storm damage; cones are upright in youth turning pendulous at maturity.
