Cultural Requirements: Prefers part shade with adequate moisture; average soil; benefits from being  mulched.

Ornamental Characteristics: Weeping form with exfoliating bark adds interest; large, 12-15" flower heads of intricate double-flowered blossoms that take on purplish-pink hues as they dry; medium to dark green oak-shaped leaves turn outstanding burgundy-red fall color.

Uses in the Landscape: Excellent for drying and displaying as a specimen plant in the garden.
