Height: 3-4'  Spread: 3-4'  Habit/Form: Rounded  Growth Rate:  medium  Zone 5-8

Cultural Requirements: Best in part shade in moist well-drained soil; benefits from mulch and winter protection; blooms in midsummer on old wood.

Ornamental Characteristics: snowball-like flowers begin white to pale green, then pink and mature through the season to an intense darker burgundy color; leaves emerge tinted with purple and mature to green and then back to red and purple hues in the fall; reddish stems add contrast to changing leaves.

Uses in the Landscape: containers, front of border; great for mass plantings
