Cultural Requirements: Best in part shade with moist, humid-rich soil, blooms on both old and new wood.

Ornamental Characteristics: Sturdy red stems support abundant lacecap flowers with deep-pink surrounded by pink or periwinkle blue sterile flowers, depending on soil type; glossy deep green leaves turn burgundy in fall.

Landscape Use: specimen, mixed border, and compact enough for containers.
