Height: 20-30' Spread: 20-30' Habit/Form: Vase-shaped (youth) to rounded   Growth Rate: Small/Medium  Zone: 5-8

Cultural Requirements: Sun to part shade; moist, well-drained, organic-rich soil; struggles in heavy clay soil; benefits with mulch for cool root environment.

Ornamental Characteristics: Pointed, 4-petaled, white flowers appear above foliage in June; large, attractive, 1-inch, raspberry-like fruit in August; dark green foliage turns reddish-purple fall color; blooms 2-3 weeks after native dogwoods; horizontal branching.

Use in the Landscape: Excellent small specimen tree or shrub, as a foundation planting near corner of house to break up vertical lines
