Children's Parties

The upper deck of the Children's Garden picnic area can be reserved for parties (up to 50 people) from April through October. Party reservation includes admission to the Arboretum for party guests, use of the picnic space for two hours (10 a.m.-noon or 1:30-3:30 p.m.), and optional party activities for an additional fee. Outdoor party hosts may use Arboretum catering or bring their own food (no deliveries allowed).

June through August

Private events are available in the Children's Garden on Friday evenings in summer for up to 100 guests. Private rental includes admission to the Arboretum for guests, use of the Children's garden for two hours (6-8 p.m.), and a nature-inspired craft. Hosts may use Arboretum catering or bring their own food (no deliveries allowed).

November through March

Children's winter parties are held November through March in the Outpost near the Thornhill Education Center. Winter parties include admission for up to 40 guests (children and adults), use of the outpost for two hours (between 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), and a 45 minute winter-themed activity. Parties are held every day, subject to room availability. Hosts may use Arboretum catering or bring their own food (no deliveries allowed).
