  • Library Exhibit: Plant Hunters

    The exhibit features artifacts from the library’s special collection relating to famous plant hunters, and it explores modern conservation efforts by scientists at the Arboretum. Tuesdays-Saturdays, during regular library hours.
  • Winter Bird Walk

    Explore the winter landscape with an expert guide, learn to identify the birds that overwinter in Illinois, and discuss their behaviors and natural history. Saturday, February 21 and March 21, 2015, 9:00-11:30 a.m.
  • 2015 Members' Exclusive Plant Catalog Sale

    Gardeners who are members of The Morton Arboretum have a special privilege: They can order from a special selection of distinctive, hard-to-find plants recommended by Arboretum experts for the Chicago area. Orders in the Members' Exclusive Plant Catalog Sale will be taken February 3- April 7, 2015
  • Indoor Gardening Weekend

    Join the Arboretum for a weekend of indoor gardening fun! Saturday April 18 and Sunday April 19, 2015. Times vary.
  • Wednesdays, Woods & Wine Unplugged

    Wednesday is the new Friday! Unwind after work with intimate live music, drinks, and light fare. Wednesdays, February 18 through March 25, 2015 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
  • Cross-country ski & snowshoe rental

    When there is four inches or more of snow on the ground at The Morton Arboretum, trails are available to cross-country ski or snowshoe through a winter wonderland. Weekdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Weekends: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
