  • Winter walk
    Members may bring nonmember guests to The Morton Arboretum free of charge when the nonmember arrives in the same car. Daily in February 2016.
  • Photo of a lunch and learn seminar
    REGISTER NOW. Enjoy captivating discussions of trees and nature over a delicious lunch. Wednesday, February 24, or March 9, 11:30 am-1:00 pm
  • Enchanted Railroad
    Watch an intricate railroad travel through four seasons of beauty at a child-friendly level. January 15- February 21, 2016
  • Winter sports
    When there is four inches or more of snow on the ground at The Morton Arboretum, trails are available to cross-country ski or snowshoe. Daily, through March 6, 2016. Weekdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Weekends, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Library Exhibit: Plant Hunters
    The exhibit features artifacts from the library’s special collection relating to famous plant hunters, and it explores modern conservation efforts by scientists at the Arboretum. Tuesdays-Saturdays, during regular library hours.

    Join us in the Children's Garden for winter time fun! Daily through March in the Children’s Garden from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Weather permitting.
  • Table-top Tour
    If you want to experience The Morton Arboretum in winter but it’s just too cold, come inside and take a “table-top” tour with us. Sundays February 7,14, 21 & 28, 2016 and Wednesdays February 10, 17 & 24, 2016.
  • Story time
    Join us in the Sterling Morton Library for this popular and interactive story time! Best for ages 3-5 with adult. Wednesdays and Fridays November 2015 through March 2016, 11:00-11:45 a.m.
  • Adult yoga
    Get healthy under the trees! Improve your health and well-being with yoga.
